One Sweet Trip After Another
My first chocolate tour was to Bruge, Belgium, an amazing town with over 50+ chocolate shops! From there, I was hooked and every single trip I’ve taken has been on the hunt for the best sweets – from chocolate, to hot chocolate, to pastries and more.
Don’t forget the coffee too! No matter where I am, coffee is always calling my name!
I hope you’ll join me on my next Reader Trip!
Our first was December 2019, when we explored the German Christmas Markets while on a luxury river cruise. I love European Christmas Markets and I can’t wait to go back!
Our next will be a sweet tour of Paris…I have so many ideas of where to go, things I want to share with you that I’ve seen and fallen in love with…I’m fairly ‘giddy’ with excitement!
I have one question though…where do you think we should go next? Click the buttom and email me your idea!

There's something about Italy that I just love...whether it's the gelato or the pasta, the pizza or even the tiramisu...every time I travelt to Italy, I always wonder why I don't go more often. While trying to decide where we should go next ... Belgium in search of...
There is nothing I love more than planning a trip! There's a genuine excitement that fills me, follows me throughout the day and it doesn't matter that planning, researching, making lists upon lists can eat up my writing day...I'll do it over and over and over...
In just a little over a month, I'm headed to Amsterdam for my first ever Reader Trip. It's an all-inclusive 8 day river cruise with Scenic touring the Christmas Markets in from Holland to Switzerland. It's going to be amazing! My husband and youngest daughter will be...
Steena's Tips & Tricks For Traveling
Here’s my top tips to making your next trip a stress-free one (I’m always adding to it.)
TOP 5 Tips:
- Use carry-on luggage only. You won’t wear/use/need 1/2 the things you’ve packed in your big suitcase.
- Tuck extra $$ away for emergency.
- Don’t be afraid to explore on your own. Solo travel can be an amazing adventure!
- Travelon Anti-Theft, RFID purses will be your lifesaver. This is one of my favorites (I have multiple styles now).
- Bring your cords! Don’t forget laptop/phone/ereader charger cords.
