Let’s indulge together as we explore the gorgeous area of the Amalfi Coast where we’ll walk through lemon groves, discover hidden treasures only the locals know about and sip our morning coffee overlooking the amazing blue Mediterranean below us!
We will wander through cobblestone streets, enjoy a private prosecco night cruise, visit the oldest coffee/pastry shop in Positano and induldge in gelato, chocolate and all their amazing desserts. We will walk through lemon groves while sipping limencello, eat fresh mozzerlla and make our own pasta, we will explore exquisite villas and cathedrals, visit Pompeii and so much more!

Please note – you are responsible for booking your own flight. I hope you’ll join my Steena Travels group on Facebook where we can discuss travel questions, talk about suggested times to arrive and leave on our trip – we’ll even have an extended excursion available on the day of departure if anyone wants to join me to see the Isle of Capri!

I’m not sure if it’s the history, the food, the scenery, the limencello or all the gelato, but every time I explore Italy, I fall more and more in love with the amazing country – and I know you will too!
There is nothing like the Amalfi Coast! I went once on a day trip back in 2015 and I’ve always wanted to go back, to walk through the winding cobblestone pathways, sit at a beachside cafe and sip my wine all the while plot a story that’s been in my head and heart for years – and you can help with with that story, too!
During this sweet Italy tour – everything you’ve wanted to do and see while exploring the Amalfi Coast – we will do!
- We will learn how to make (and taste) fresh mozzerella

- take a private boat tour and watch the sun set while sipping prosecco

WE WILL BE STAYING AT:
4* Boutique Hotel Onda Verde – a romantic dream of a location right on the sea, with dreamy white cottages and enchanted coves – along with a thousand shades of blue!
Staying in the Hotel Onda Verde will be like staying in an Italian Paradise, losing ourselves to the coast, the scents and the experience.
4* Luxury Hotel – Napoli Art Resort – Galleria Umberto – an inspiring stay inside a magnificent gallery furnished by Baroque works of art.
Located in the heart of old town Naples, we are surrounded by cafes, theatres, boutique shops and more. A lap of luxury surrounded by old world charm!
This trip is designed for both the single traveler and as a ‘girlfriends / mother & daughter etc’ trip.
This trip is priced in the home currency of the trip’s location (in Euro’s). Airfare is not including in pricing.
NOTE: You will need to fly into Naples Airport, arriving on Sunday, May 26th – unless you wish to arrive earlier and soak up the Italian experience on your own before the tour!

All inclusive trip includes: hotel rooms in a 4* hotels, airport transfers, all meals indicted in itinerary, Pompeii tour, time in Ravello, Positano, Naples and more, hands-on workshops, drinks during meals, tips, tour guides and entrance fees.
Itinerary
I can’t wait to experience the Amalfi Coast with you! We’ll bond over limencello and tiramisu, we’ll laugh while learning to make our own pasta and we’ll walk away as friends who made amazing memories together! Plus…you will be able to help create characters for an upcoming novel set in the Amalfi Coast!
NOTE: You will want to schedule your arrival flight to arrive in Naples for Sunday, May 26th or earlier. Most flights from Canada/US will need to depart Saturday, May 25th to arrive in time. Or come a few days early and explore Naples/Rome/Florence before our tour (if you need help with pre or post travel accomodations etc, Nancy from Absolutely Southern France, our tour facilitator, can arrange that!!
Day 1 – Sunday, May 26: Welcome to Paradise!
Our sweet tour of the Amalfi Coast beings! After being picked up from the Naples airport (transfers included), we will step into a charming 4-star family owned and operated, boutique hotel @Onda Verde, where we will have time to freshen up, relax and become mesmerized by the Meditteranean blue sea!
In the evening we will have a welcome cocktail together before followed by dinner with an unforgettable view, where we will get to know each other and I’ll hand out some small welcome gifts!
Day 2 – Monday, May 27: Lemons & Mozzarella
No trip to the Amalfi Coast is complete unless we explore the verdant orchards and taste limoncello! We’ll vist a limoncello distillery in Minori and learn from a master on how this delicious drink is made. Of course we will sip and savor, and then I know my bags will be full of bottles of fresh limoncello! We’ll then hike through a lemon grove offering picturesque landscapes and a breathtaking views onto the valley and seaside (make sure you have lots of room on your phone for all the photos we will be taking!).
If you’re not up for the hike, not to worry – our tour guide will take you to Scala, the most ancient tiny village of the area with over 130 churches. After some sweet treats (and possibly more limoncello), we will head to the enchanting village of Ravello to meet Biagio in his cheese shop where we will don an apron and make our own mozzarella for lunch!
We will have the afternoon on our own as we explore Ravello, tour the stunning Villa Ruffalo, have a spritz (or two) or browse the narrow ancient streets to admire the ceramics and other boutique shops.
We will end our day with dinner @Il Parate, in Praiano.
Day 3 – Tues, May 28: Having Fun in Positano!
Ahh, Positano! With it’s picturesque cliffsides villas and amazing blue water lapping the shore – why would we go anywhere else?
Today, we will have the experience of a lifetime in Positano with three different memory making moments! First, we will handpaint a ceramic plate to bring home as a gift or souvenir.
For lunch, we will learn the art of pasta and enjoy the fresh delight we will hand make ourselves. The afternoon will be spent exploring Positano, perhaps getting discovering some unique finds in the many boutique stores, or enjoying the beach view while sitting at one of the many cafes lining the shores.
No evening in Positano would be complete without a private sunset boat tour with a glass of Prosecco to toast the breathtaking view!
We will have time off for dinner to enjoy on our own.
Day 4 – Wed, May 29: Sweet Treats & Other Delicasies
Would we really have a sweet tour without enjoying any of the amazing desserts the Italians have to offer? Not on my tour!
Our perfect day in Amalfi will begin with an exclusive guided tour of the ancestral papermaking museum where we will be able to make our own souvenir card.
After the tour, it’s all about free time at the market where we can pick up some delicious lemon pasta, risotto and even salt! If you have 10 minutes to spare, why not take the opportunity to have have a pair of leather sandals custom made in just 10 minutes (I bought a pair of handmade leather sandals 9 years ago when I came and I finally wore them out – time for a new pair)!
After lunch on our own while exploring the local market (ps…don’t order dessert) we will be welcomed by one of Italy’s best pastry chefs to the oldest coffee and pastry shop in Amalfi dating back to 1830! We will be able to taste some of the finest sweet delicasies Amalfi is known for and we’ll be ruined for life!
Right next to the pastry shop, our guide will take us for a tour of the extraordinary Saint Andre Cathedral and cloister of paradise. But don’t worry – there’s more treats! We won’t leave Amalfi without a Gelato made with lemon syrup, said to be the best in the world since 1918.
Dinner will be enjoyed at @Costa Diva, in Praiano.
Day 5 – Thurs, May 30: Pompeii and Pizza
It’s time to leave the Amalfi Coastline and head to Naples where we will be staying in the amazing Grand Art Galleria Umberto Hotel. But first, we will walk through the grounds of Pompeii and discover first hand the history of Pompeii.
When we head to Naples, after checking into our hotel, we will have time to relax, unpack and even explore the area around us since we’ll be staying right in the heart of the histroical district.
Dinner will be at the iconic @Brandi’s where in 1889, the Marguerita pizza was invented!
Day 6- Friday, May 31: Christmas in Naples? Why not!
After a delicious breakfast, our day will begin with a fully private sightseeing tour of historic Naples’ magnificent art and architecture. The tour will end in the city center where we will then have time to explore, enjoy another slice of pizza or pasta, of course, we’ll have to shop in the “Christmas Alley” where artisans craft nativity figurines all year round!
Our farewell dinner will be hosted at @Zi Teresa, in Naples
Day 7 – Sat, June 1: Ciao Italia – or maybe not?
If you must leave beautiful Italy, your airport transfer is included. But if you’d like to extend your stay and do a little more touring, why not join me on an OPTIONAL day trip to Capri with a private guide?
Or…extend your stay even longer and take a train to Florence, Rome or beyond!
