Wow. 12 days of an amazing trip!
One I will always remember and it’s all thanks to you – my readers! I haven’t forgotten for one moment that none of this would have been possible if you all hadn’t bought Finding Emma and fell in love with a little girl and her Papa.
This journey I’ve been on – starting in March 2012 until now – has been amazing, life changing, eye opening and jaw dropping!
Did you know that while I’ve been here in London, Finding Emma has stayed in the top 10? That’s amazing to me! I’m thrilled to discover new readers in the UK – and if you are a new reader – be sure to check out my author page on Facebook so we can chat. www.facebook.com/steenaholmes.author
I have some surprises in store for you as well – just some little ways for me to say thank you. I have 2 bags full of sweet treats I bought – some for me, some for my family and some for you. I’ll need to save some for when Emma’s Secret is released but for now … if you’ve been reading my daily posts – let me know what day was the one you enjoyed reading about the most. Don’t worry – you don’t have to give me a specific day – just let me know – it was while you were in Brugge or in Paris listening to the bells of Notre Dame or … even if it’s this post telling you about the sweet treats you could win 🙂
Leave me a comment below. I have a few prizes to give away – some are very small, some are delicious, some are fun. All were bought with you in mind. I’ll be off line for a few days … 12 days away from my family means a lot to catch up on, family time I’ve missed, a house I need to clean, clothes I need to wash….you know the drill. But I’ll be back before the end of the week!
Chat with you soon!
Just discovered you. Sorry I missed your trip. So nice of you to share the joy.

My favorite thing about your posts is always your humility and willingness to share your successes with your readers and fans. It inspires me to keep on plugging away and my writing.
I have to say I had a wonderful time reading your daily posts! I’m sure I will never be able to go to the beautiful places you have gone to. But seeing the pictures made me feel like I was there! Thank you for the tour! U make a great tour guide!

I loved all of the posts, but especially the one about your first day in Brugge. I cannot wait to go and visit the chocolate shops and take a carriage ride!
Maria I think that will always be my favorite day and memory there!
I have followed every amazing step of your way and enjoyed every post. Thank you for taking us with you! I loved the way you wrote about each place you visited, the detail you included that made me feel I was there with you. Can we go back to to Brugge? Wonderful that you have stayed in the top 10. What a fantastic and well deserved experience.
Vicki, I’d love to go back to Brugge! I didn’t stay there long enough.
I also loved reading about your lost purse…Sounds like your whole trip was awesome and I’m sure your family can’t wait to get ou back!!!
Loved when you posted the pictures of where you went. The little store and the people made out of chocolate.. Have a safe trip back home!!
How can I pick just one day, one event, or one blog post? I loved them all and I cannot thank you enough for taking us along with you on this magical ride. As I read each one, I closed my eyes and imagined being there with you in the real. Thank you, thank you!
So happy that your dream trip came true. I will never forget the losing your purse episode but the one that made me “feel” was when you listened to the Bells of Notre Dame…oh, how peaceful and serene that must have been. Thank you for telling everyone there about “us” and sharing it all with us. Hugs, Linda
Hey, chica. See you next weekend. So glad you’ve been blogging while you were traveling… it’s been great to read all about your adventure! 🙂 Hugs.
I have loved reading about your trip. When I think about your blogs I just remembering you drinking Hot Chocolate and listening to the Notre Dame or writing in bed listening to them. It just stuck with me.
Sara – I think that is something I will never forget and wish I could hear all the time.
Steena, this has been a joy coming along with you. Naturally, my favorite post was Shakespeare & Co. Knowing the smell and feel of that store, and the impact it has on writers… While you explained your experience so perfectly, like the experience itself, there is something also very inexplicable. I feel like I’ve shared that with you now.
Safe travels home, Steena! Every day of your trip has been memorable and it was great fun to have you share it all with us. I’m so looking forward to reading Emma’s Secret!
I really enjoyed reading all of your updates but particularly yesterdays post when you lost your purse. Even though it was very stressfulyou carried on like a real trooper. I have to say though, the waffles looked exceptionally delicous and maybe that’s why day 11 was my favourite!
Steena, I am thrilled you had such a wonderful International opportunity to promote your books. Congratulations also in staying up in the Top “10” xx
I’m so thrilled for you, Steena! You and your story deserve to be at the top. Thanks for sharing your travels with us—fun to live it vicariously. 🙂
