Can you believe it’s the holiday season? Where did this year go?

So much has happened this year – it’s crazy to realize just how different my life is right now compared to 12 months ago.

But…that being said, this post is about books, not about the craziness of my life.

What are you reading right now?

I have a few books on the go. A thriller that I’m reading for a contest (my kindle is full of contest entries) and I’m listening to Lisa Gardner’s Find Her (which happens to be on sale for $2.50). Interesting fact – I’ve been listening to this as I fall asleep and I could swear the book was familiar to me. After three nights, I realized I’d bought this book and read it all ready. I’m still listening to it though because it’s that good!

What am I doing right now?

I don’t know about you, but I’m really in the mood for Christmas! I’m finishing up edits, working on a few stories I think you might like and I just redid my website. What do you think?

Last year, we threw out our Christmas tree. It was old, the lights no longer worked and we’d been discussing it for a few years. We totally forgot about it until last night…oops. We’re debating now whether we should get a real tree or a fake one again. Growing up, we had real trees but in our 23 years of being together, we’ve only ever had fake trees.

What do you have? if it’s fake – do you have a pre-lit or plain? if it’s real…how would I take care of it? LOL
