A Belgium Chocolate Christmas
Some Christmas trips should coexist with a warning label…
Secrets, Chocolate, and Christmas Markets — Set in Belgium
Every year, the Tinsel Travelers gather for a Christmas market trip somewhere in Europe. This year: Belgium. But Mara wasn’t supposed to be going — still raw from losing her mother Stella, the last thing she wanted was fairy lights and glühwein.
Her friends — Donna, Jo-Jo, Kat, Sandra, and Lucy — had other ideas. You don’t leave one of your own behind.
Amidst the twinkling lights of Brussels and Bruges, warm chocolate walks and meandering Christmas markets, Mara grapples with betrayal, forgiveness, and the question of who she really is. And it turns out visiting Belgium wasn’t just about the chocolate after all.

Want to Explore This Book in Person?
Wandering through Christmas markets in Europe is one of my truly happy places — the mulled wine, the handmade crafts, the smell of warm chocolate drifting through cobblestone streets. I love it so much I started hosting Reader Trips to these markets, and the Tinsel Travelers were born from those real friendships formed along the way.
This story is set in Belgium — specifically Brussels and Bruges, my favourite chocolate town. Come join me as we explore the Belgium markets together in an upcoming reader tour (look under the Reader Tours tab on the menu). I hope it makes you want to book a ticket.
More Adventures Are on the Way
The Tinsel Travelers aren’t done exploring Christmas markets yet — two more trips are coming.
