“Living at the Jersey Shore, we love our summers! We enjoy barbecuing, and creating and trying new recipes. The steak marinade is a family favorite. Our “growing” family gets together every Monday night for dinner, followed up with roasting marshmallows by the fire pit! I just finished The Girl on the Train and Still Alice. Spicy Steak Marinade

This yummy marinade comes to us from Caron Dunne Keane. Her trick is to make this marinade to TASTE; no measurements!
Ingredients
- Louisiana hot sauce
- Soy sauce
- Crushed red pepper flakes
- Lemon juice
- Fresh basil
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in plastic bag or container.
- Mix until combined, tasting as you mix to get just-the-right flavor.
- Place steaks in marinade and refrigerate for as long as you wish.
