Looking for a decadent chocolate cake with a hint of coconut?

I’ll admit – while I love to bake, I’m all about taking short cuts. The cake mixes that are moist are wonderful to use and alter for your own recipes. That’s what I’ve done below…to make it extra moist I added coconut milk in both the cake and the icing. Let me tell you – it’s a sure fire hit for any coconut lover!

Please note: Recipe card says 1 c. coconut oil for the icing – but that should be 1 c. butter! Thanks Jan for  pointing that out. With the 1/2 c coconut milk – it gives it enough taste. Can you tell I had coconut on the brain?
