Did you know over 500,000 children were reported missing in North America in 2014?

That’s 500,000 too many.

When I first wrote Finding Emma, a story of a mother trying to find her kidnapped daughter, I knew that even though I was one person, I wanted to do my part in helping to protect children. I partnered with Missing Children’s Society of Canada and donate proceeds from the sale of Finding Emma to their organization – an organization dedicated to reuniting families.

Every May, I set aside 2 days of sales from Finding Emma to this charity.
May 9 – Mother’s Day and May 25 – National Missing Children’s Day.

Finding Emma

If you fell in love with a little girl and her papa, then I hope you’ll continue to help me with my Sweet Hope cause. Gift a copy of the book to a friend, give it away on Facebook or your blog, purchase a copy and donate it to your local library…and with it being on sale this month, it’s a perfect time to purchase a copy!

But there’s more you can do as well.  Visit this site that explains how the National Missing Children’s Day came to be and what you can do to help.
Their suggestions:

  1. Share a Poster of a child that is missing in your state
  2. Know what to do if you child does go missing
  3. Talk to your kids about child abduction
  4. Teach your kids about online safety

I want to thank you in advance of all your help and support throughout the past three years with my Sweet Hope cause. It means the world to me!
